Sony Xperia P, Go, S, SL, Ion, Acro S: Android 4.1 Update Officially Announced

Sony's global PR team has tweeted that Jelly Bean update for Xperia smartphones including Xperia P, Xperia Go, Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia Ion, and Xperia acro S are in the works. Apparently the updates are in the 5th and final stage of development.

There have been several evidences suggesting that the update will be available for download by this month or the the next. But the news coming directly from Sony, confirms the fact that the updates are around the corner. Anyways, the company has said that it will be bringing in new information about the updates in the next week. Hopefully, the company will give out details about what the update will bring and when it might be available.

However, there were previous leeks, saying that the Jelly Bean upgrade for Sony Xperia P will bringing updates to the camera app. Also, Clear Audio+, Xloud, the equalizer and Clear Phase along with Stamina mode are said to be included in the update.

Sony Xperia S

Xperia S sports a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen 720 x 1280 p display, Dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 1 GB Ram, 12 MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front camera, 32 GB internal storage, connectivity features including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB and HDMI and 1750 mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 25,990.

Xperia Sl
