Sony Xperia SP Launched in India at Rs 27490: How is it Similar to Xperia Z?

|

Sony seems to be concentrating on India largely in order to increase its smartphone market share. While it has been only a month since the release of Xperia Z and Xperia ZL in India, the firm has announced the launch of Xperia SP, the newly unveiled smartphone and the younger kin of Xperia Z.

Sony has officially announced that Xperia SP will be priced at Rs 27,490 and will be available from mid-April, which is only a few weeks away. The handset was unveiled on March 18 at a special media event in Russia alongside Xperia L.

It is to be noted that Xperia SP is a better offering as compared to Xperia L comparing on the basis of specifications. On the other hand, when compared to high end Xperia Z which is priced in India at Rs 37,990, Xperia SP may be downsized but it can be claimed as a decent alternative to the waterproof, dustproof heavyweight.
