While the likes of Samsung, LG and HTC are currently posing a major threat to others in the market, Sony is also not far behind with the company regularly hitting the market with one new device after another.

The smartphone market is on an expanding mode in recent times. And this has happened majorly with the major influx in the number of smartphone makers in the business. So before the year ends, expect the market to grow even more. The new Xperia T3 is now set to be a part of it.

going through the specs for the same, the Xperia T3, set to be available across India starting 28th July at a price tag of Rs. 27,990, comes packed with a 5.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Triluminos Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2.

It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor with Adreno 305 GPU coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.

The smartphone uses 8MP rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 1.1MP HD front-facing camera to take pictures and record videos. Other specs include: 8GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory via microSD card, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n ( 2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC.

The maker has used a 2500 mAh Battery with STAMINA mode to power up the phone. What's more, the phone just measures 7mm thick and has stainless steel frame and an aluminum power button. The company claims that it's the world's slimmest smartphone with a 5.3-inch display.
