HTC Desire X
Desire X is a mid-range Android ICS smartphone launched at the Mobile World Congress 2012 and released into the market with a price tag of Rs 19,799.
The HTC offering packs a 4 inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, dual core 1GHz processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 5MP rear camera with auto focus, LED flash and BSI sensor, 4GB internal memory, 768MB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting additional storage, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and a 1,650 mAh Li-ion battery delivering 10 hours talk time and 750 hours standby.
HTC Desire X could pose a threat to Xperia U with a larger display, increased memory options via micro SD, which is missing in the latter, Beats Audio integration and 25GB free Dropbox storage. However, Desire X missed some elements like front camera for video calling as in Xperia U.
