Benchmark Scores, OS and Battery
Disclaimer: The benchmark scores executed by GizBot should not be looked as the final verdict.

The Sony Xperia Z1 is a powerful device , as it packed a 2.2GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC coupled with Krait processor, Adreno 330 graphics, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory ( expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card slot). Users get roughly 11GB of internal memory.

To check whether the Xperia Z1 stands tall against its competitors, GizBot executed the device based on certain benchmark scores.
Here are the scores:
AnTuTu 4: 33986
Quadrant: 21474
NenaMark2: 60fps
Smartbench 2012: 9565 (Productivity index)
Vellamo: 2896
Epic Citadel: 59.4fps
GLBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex (1080p off-screen): 23fps
GLBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex (1080p Onscreen): 24fps
Linpack: 547.619 (Multi-Thread)
Overall, the Xperia Z1 is way ahead compared to HTC One or Samsung Galaxy S4 for that matter. Sony made device is an excellent gaming machine too. Heavy duty games such as Asphalt 8: Airborne can be played on the Xperia Z1 without any hiccups. Loading times are faster and graphics displayed reminds of console quality, all thanks to the Snapdragon 800 chipset.

Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The typically Xperia looking user interface (UI) is not bad looking at all. The app drawer is well laid and you can select/ change the positioning of apps. With one swipe you can select / deselect apps or uninstall them.
The foremost thing you expect from a high-end smartphone is great battery life. With the Xperia Z1, Sony managed to impress us with long lasting battery life. The device comes with a massive 3000mAh non-removable battery fitted inside. On a single charge, the handset comfortably runs between 12- 14 hours. If you are using the phone primarily for entertainment purpose, then expect around 6 hours of battery backup.

Final words...
After reading our detailed review of the Sony Xperia Z1, by now you might have decided your choice. The Xperia Z1 is an excellent phone - let's not forget that. Sony is constantly trying to revamp its phone business; and, the Xperia Z1 is an honest start.
The 5-inch FHD display is way better than its predecessor, the Xperia Z. In general, Samsung's Super AMOLED display used in the Galaxy Note 3 is closer to a reality. The Xperia Z1's biggest strength is indeed its internal processor.
The Xperia Z1 is saved by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (quad-core) processor, not by its design or camera. Everything is fine with the Xperia Z1 except its rear-facing camera. The manual mode is a big joke. Last but not the least, the Sony Xperia Z1 is priced under Rs. 45,000. If price factor is any indication, then clearly Sony has a chance to sell the phone in large numbers.
