Sony, as we mentioned before, has been in the mobile phone business long before most of the big names were even making rounds, and hence it's no stranger to dedicated products. And now, keeping up with the times, Sony is finally ready to release its new Xperia Z2 handset in India.

Originally launched earlier at this year's MWC, the Sony Xperia Z2, the successor to the original Xperia Z1, features a 5.2-inch "Triluminos" display at 1080p. The device runs on a 2.26 GHz MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 processor.
The Android 4.4 Kitkat powered device offers a 3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of ROM, and a powerful 3200 mAh battery under the hood.
On the camera front, the handset comes with a 20.7-megapixel camera with 4K video recording capabilities, alongside a 2MP front-facing camera. Moreover, the Xperia Z2 is also IP55 and IP58 certified, making the device rugged in nature (water and dustproof).

Samsung Galaxy S5
The recently released Samsung Galaxy S5 is surely one of the prime competitors for the new Xperia Z2 handset. The device is already tipped to be one of the popular handsets in India, if not the world.
The Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display offering a Full HD resolution and churns out the pixel density of 432 ppi.
It is powered by Octa Core Processor Adonis Prime2 (Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz) + XMM6360 coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS with the layer of the upgraded version of the TouchWiz UI including a new notification bar.
The camera which Samsung has used in this phone is something that can be easily considered as one of the best as it features a mechanism which allows the users to auto focus the subject in less than 0.3 seconds which means that you can also shoot moving objects with ease. There is a 2MP front-facing shooter which is enough for taking selfies and making video calls.
Moreover, the Galaxy S5 will be offered in two variants depending on the internal storage capacity i.e. 16GB or 32GB with a microSD card support (128GB). It uses (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) 2x2 MIMO, USB3.0, BT 4.0(LE) connectivity options.

HTC One M8
The HTC One M8 has also been recently launched with a lot of expectations from the HTC front. The device is expected to be a household name in new age smartphones.
The HTC One M8 comes with a 5.0-inch display offering a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it features a Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection as well.
Apart from the Quad Core processor Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5 GHz, the phone also comes with Adreno 330 GPU coupled with 2 GB RAM. In terms of OS, it runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) layered with the company's proprietary Sense 6.0 UI.
Imaging is a primary factor for all HTC devices, and this time also the company has chosen the UltraPixel primary rear camera with dual LED Flash, BSI Sensor,F/2.0 aperture and 28 mm lens. In fact, there are two rear cameras installed in the handset this time.
The secondary rear camera helps to capture depth information of the subject. At the front there is a 5 MP front-facing shooter capable of taking great selfies and making video calls. The rear camera is capable of shooting Full HD (1080p) video with HDR mode as well.
The handset comes with a native storage capacity of 16GB and it is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. LG Nexus 5
This one is easily already one of the top smartphones that's basically in everyone's wishlist planning to invest on a worth-for-money handset that will also run the most advanced piece of Android platform on the planet.
The LG-made Nexus 5 is available in two different 16 GB and 32 GB variants. The device sports a 4.95-inch FHD display with pixel density of 445ppi along with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Powering the handset is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad core processor clocked to 2.3 GHz, Adreno 330 GPU tuned to 450MHz and a 2GB RAM. Most interesting part of the device is that it runs on the latest iteration Android 4.4 KitKat.

LG G Pro 2
LG's newest entry in the market has been via the G Pro 2 handset. Again, LG, not having that big a presence in the market, is hoping to gain some momentum with the new device.
The LG G Pro 2 comes packed with an exciting 5.9 inch full HD (1920x1080pixels) IPS Display. The device boasts a 3.3 mm narrow bezel that maximizes the display area for an immersive, edge to edge viewing.
The LG G Pro 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (2.26 GHz Quad-Core) and ADRENO 330 GPU coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The device's 13 MP OIS Plus Camera offers clear and bright imagery using Optical Image Stabilization plus technology.
Other advanced camera features include 120fps HD video, slow motion video, the 4K Ultra HD recording that allows footage to be recorded in a resolution of 3840 pixels x 2160 lines. It has 2.1 MP front-facing shooter.
The smartphone comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants. You will also find a microSD card slot in the device which can take up to 64GB additional storage.

Nokia Lumia 930
Nokia has also emerged as one of the top companies looking for a turnaround in the Indian market. And it's trying to do so with the release of a host of devices. The Lumia 930 is one of those devices.
The device has a 5-inch Full HD True Black ClearBlack display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 2.2Ghz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC , backed by 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and 7GB of Microsoft's OneDrive Cloud storage. Unfortunately, the handset lacks a microSD card slot.
The 4G LTE capable phone also packs a 20-megapixel PureView with built-in OIS feature and a secondary 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. Additionally, the makers have added a 2,420mAh battery fitted inside. There are also four microphones built into device for superb sound experience. The Lumia 930 measures 137 x 71 x 9.8 mm and weighs 167 grams.
