Originally launched earlier at this year's MWC, the Sony Xperia Z2, the successor to the original Xperia Z1, features a 5.2-inch "Triluminos" display at 1080p. The device runs on a 2.26 GHz MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 processor.

The Android 4.4 Kitkat powered device offers a 3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of ROM, and a powerful 3200 mAh battery under the hood.

On the camera front, the handset comes with a 20.7-megapixel camera with 4K video recording capabilities, alongside a 2MP front-facing camera. Moreover, the Xperia Z2 is also IP55 and IP58 certified, making the device rugged in nature (water and dustproof).

The recently released Samsung Galaxy S5 is surely one of the prime competitors for the new Xperia Z2 handset. The device is already tipped to be one of the popular handsets in India, if not the world.

The Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display offering a Full HD resolution and churns out the pixel density of 432 ppi.

It is powered by Octa Core Processor Adonis Prime2 (Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz) + XMM6360 coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS with the layer of the upgraded version of the TouchWiz UI including a new notification bar.

The camera which Samsung has used in this phone is something that can be easily considered as one of the best as it features a mechanism which allows the users to auto focus the subject in less than 0.3 seconds which means that you can also shoot moving objects with ease. There is a 2MP front-facing shooter which is enough for taking selfies and making video calls.

The LG G Pro 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (2.26 GHz Quad-Core) and ADRENO 330 GPU coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The device's 13 MP OIS Plus Camera offers clear and bright imagery using Optical Image Stabilization plus technology.

Other advanced camera features include 120fps HD video, slow motion video, the 4K Ultra HD recording that allows footage to be recorded in a resolution of 3840 pixels x 2160 lines. It has 2.1 MP front-facing shooter.

The smartphone comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants. You will also find a microSD card slot in the device which can take up to 64GB additional storage.

There are connectivity options like Bluetooth Smart Ready (BT4.0) USB, Wi-Fi, NFC and SlimPort and 3G/HSPA+ Network. LG G Pro 2, which is already available in India comes in two color variants viz. White and Titan Black. It is powered by a 3,200 mAh removable Battery.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a 2.2Ghz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC , backed by 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and 7GB of Microsoft's OneDrive Cloud storage. Unfortunately, the handset lacks a microSD card slot.

The 4G LTE capable phone also packs a 20-megapixel PureView with built-in OIS feature and a secondary 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. Additionally, the makers have added a 2,420mAh battery fitted inside. There are also four microphones built into device for superb sound experience. The Lumia 930 measures 137 x 71 x 9.8 mm and weighs 167 grams.
