Sony Xperia Z2, Z3 To Get Android Lollipop Update by Early 2015

Few hours back, a tweet from Sony Xperia team mentioned that, the Japan based handset manufacturer is planning to roll out the Lollipop Android update for Sony Xperia Z3 and Sony Xperia Z2, starting early 2015. Sony was beta testing the Android Lollipop 5.0 on Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact.

However, Sony has already disclosed the news that it will update the entire Z-series for the next Lollipop update, it includes models like Sony Xperia Z, Sony Xperia ZL, Sony Xperia ZR, Sony Xperia Tablet Z, Sony Xperia Z Ultra, Sony Xperia Z1, SonyXperia Z1S, Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, Sony Xperia Z2, Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, Sony Xperia Z3, Sony Xperia Z3v, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.

According to the officials, this Lollipop update is said to come with exciting features, such as functionality and improvements for the Xperia users.

While all the devices are waiting for its Lollipop update, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play variant is updated with Lollipop as its stock android Rom.
