Sony has been one of the prime player in the smartphone business for quite sometime. And although, much before the smartphone generation, the company has its Sony Ericsson brand of handsets, the Xperia range of handsets are the newest things in the block.
The company has seen a lot of action in the recent past with its Xperia range of handsets. And while there has been pressure from the likes of Samsung, HTC and Apple all this while, the company has still made sure that they reach out to more and more users.
The company is now all set to release its newest Xperia Z3 handset that also is looking ahead at making a good enough market for itself. And while we are yet to come across the handset officially, it seems like Sony is now serious of holding a position that's more than other big names.
The Sony Xperia Z2 has already hit shop shelves early this year, and now users are looking ahead to what Sony will launch next. And as expected, all roads lead to Xperia Z3. Sure we haven't any idea as to what the handset will bring over, but expectations are massive in this regard.
So what are the top rumors that are trending for the Xperia Z3 on the web? We take a look at the top 5.
Going by what the rumors have to say, the Xperia Z3 is continue to look similar to the newly released Xperia Z2. And even if that eventually turns out to be true, there shouldn't be any surprises since most of the Xperia handsets in the past have looked identical.
The Xperia Z3 is said to offer somewhat similar kinds of specs in the camera department as well. Apparently, the handset is expected to offers a 20.7 megapixel camera with a G lens and a 1/2.3-inch sensor. Similar to the Xperia Z2.
While a previous rumor has spoken about how the new Xperia will offer a 1080p screen, we are guessing that will just pas down as a rumors. And even if it does come out to be true, it still won't be a qHD display.
While everything else is in a rumored state, expect the new Xperia handset to at least offer the latest Android OS straight out of the box. Obviously Android v4.4.4. And the handset could also be open to the future Android L update.
All release rumors related to the handset have hinted at a potential IFA 2014 release for the Xperia Z3. And we have to say that the IFA 2014 remains as the most probable date for the release of the handset.
