Sony Xperia Z3 Full Review: Battery and Verdict

According to Sony, the battery inside the Xperia Z3 has the ability to last two days on a single charge. And that too without the power-saving Stamina Mode activated. In terms of number, Sony has dropped down from a 3,200mAh battery on the Z2 to a 3,100mAh battery on the Z3.

And true to the claims, the handset actually delivers. The battery doesn't seem like it will finish anytime soon. And very truly, the Z3 has the best battery life of any smartphone we've seen in a long time.

We have been abusing the battery with high-def videos and games and hence it hasn't managed to go past the two days of backup that Sony had promised. But for the more "normal" ones, you will be amazed at how less you actually have to charge this baby.

As we mentioned before, the Sony Xperia Z3 may not see the kind of popularity it deserves simply due to the fact that Sony has been making similar looking handsets for eons now. That being said, nothing can take away the fact that it is one of the best from Sony.

The handset will indeed face a lot of competition from many others in the same league, but if you can look past the device's looks, it will be as good a buy as any good smartphone. So if you have the money, you might as well go for it. You surely won't be disappointed.
