Sony has been a household name in the Indian smartphone market for quite some time now. The company's Xperia range of devices have created a sort of name for themselves, making the handsets one of the highly sought after in the market.
It hasn't been long since the company outed the previous Xperia Z2 handset. The handset already has become one of the top devices to arrive this year.
But while all the excitement surrounding the handset is yet to subside, we are already at a point where discussions are happening regarding the Xperia Z handset.
You guessed it right! We are indeed speaking about the Xperia Z3 handset that's currently doing rounds on the web with its rumored specs and features. And while we have no idea when it will arrive, all rumors point toward a potential IFA 2014 unveiling.
So what are the main talking points of the upcoming Xperia Z3 handset? What are main rumors surrounding the handset until now? We take a closer look at the top 5 rumors.

Early rumors related to the handset have spoken about how the new Xperia handset won't be that different from the Z2, in terms of display. A previous rumor has also talked about how the Xperia Z3 will be getting a 1080p screen. So even if it's a big rez screen, it is still not qHD.
Again, if the rumors are to be believed, the Xperia Z3 won't look that different for the Z2. And even if that eventually turns out to be true, that shouldn't be much of a surprise since all the other Xperia handsets like the Z1 and Z have all looked identical. Also, there are reports claiming that the handset might be available in both black and white.
While the Xperia Z2 currently runs on Android 4.4.2, reports have claimed that the Z3 will run the Android version 4.4.4 straight out of the box. However, given the fact that handset indeed runs this version of Android on release, there isn't a big deal to say that the handset will be open to getting the Android L update in the future. Also, changes in the overall interface is expected.
Take whatever's written here with a pinch of salt since all of it constitutes as rumors. However, the next Z3 handset is said to arrive with a 20.7 megapixel camera with a G lens and a 1/2.3-inch sensor, matching the kind of camera specs for the Xperia Z2.
As we mentioned before, all release rumors related to the handset have pointed toward a potential IFA 2014 release for the handset. In fact, the device could be at least shown off as early as August. But still, we have to say that the IFA 2014 remains as the most probable date for the release of the handset.
