Sony Xperia Z3: Xperia Z2 Successor Coming in Second Half of 2014
Sony has been able to put up a better show than some of its peers at this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC). Unlike others, Sony tried to focus on its core inefficiencies; therefore, the end product, the Xperia Z2, could end up being Sony's best phone of this season.
But Sony isn't stopping yet, as the company might be thinking to announce another high-end beast in the second half of 2014. It may not sound good to your ears, since, the Sony Xperia Z2 is yet to be made available in the market.
However, Sony seemed to have decided to come up the Xperia Z3 later this year, possibly, at this year's IFA Berlin tech show. Though, Sony has made no such bold statements, but the company went on to say that that the Xperia Z2 is the "flagship of the first half of 2014."

On the sidelines of Xperia Z2 and Z2 Tablet launch at MWC 2014, Sony Mobile's Creative Director Kurozumi Yoshiro called the Xperia Z2, Sony's flagship handset of 2014. He further says that in order to catch up with peers, Sony must update its high-end lineup every six months. Sony has plans to restructure current OmniBalance design that first appeared on the Xperia Z, followed by the latest generation high-end handsets.

Well, Sony started this trend when the company first launched the Xperia Z1 in September last year, while the Xperia Z2 will hit the market in March, just 6 months later. It seems that Sony is in no mood to take the competition lightly under any circumstances. We can expect the Xperia Z3 to go official in August or September time frame. During the same time period, LG might bring its much awaited successor of G2 smartphone. By then, we might see yet another glorified product from the house of Samsung, the Galaxy Note 4.
