Sony always does things in style. And that can be pointed out with the release of handsets such as the Xperia Z1, Z2 and most recently, the Z3. All three, as you may know, have been well crafted and carries a certain aura of finesse only Sony smartphones possess.
However, with the release of the Xperia Z3 now out of the context, with the Z3 Compact also going live, all eyes are now fixed on Sony as to when the company might reveal the new Xperia Z4 in context of the other handsets in line.
While we still wait for anything official on the handset to arrive, there are already a boatload of concept images for the handset that are making rounds on the web. And here are the 5 most interesting concepts of the handset we have seen so far.
This one shows off that even though we are expecting more innovative features from the upcoming Xperia Z4, it seems like Sony will stick with its 20.7MP primary camera offering. Going by standards, that should remain the same.
This one provides a more detailed picture of the handset in terms of specs and numbers. The specs also show 4GB RAM, 20.7MP camera and 3500mAh battery to power it all. It also shows off a 5.4-inch qHD display.
This one shows a curved back and it's quite bulky by current standards. While the front side feels a lot like the current Xperias, it seems the handset's camera is missing flash support. The UI also seems very simple and minimalistic.
This new concept shows the Xperia Z4 as a phablet. We're dealing here with a smartphone that packs a 5.7 inch screen and a metallic body, that should be interesting. The metallic body is combined with glass, while the general dual glass plate device has remained the same.
This one was sent over by Ben Ling, a name that can be associated with Sony Xperia concepts. However, while the handset's designing is predictable, the model is a 5.5 incher, with a Quad HD IPS panel on board. It uses Sony Live Colour LED technology, Gorilla Glass 3 and a 20.7 megapixel camera with 1/2.3 inch sensor and LED flash.
