The 4.3 inch capacitive multitouch screen HD display is the coolest feature of the phone with a screen size of 720 x 1280 pixels. One other feature worth mentioning is the awesome primary camera of Sony Xperia Acro HD. The 12 Megapixel primary camera comes with LED flash and autofocus features. Obviously, such a big camera is bound to sport full HD 1080p video resolution as well.

Hopefully, the Xperia Acro HD will be coming with great battery efficiency as it’s juiced up by a big 1840 mAh Li ion battery. The smartphone is power-packed, owing it all to the 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 1 GB RAM. What most smartphones have in common are 3G and WiFi connectivity. Sony Xperia Acro HD isn’t any different and features HSPA+ 3G and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi. Sony Hayate runs in Google’s latest version of Android Gingerbread – v2.3.7.

Sony Xperia Acro HD also features v2.1 Bluetooth connectivity, Infrared feature as well as a built-in GPS module with Assisted GPS. The handset made a lot of news, being one of the toughest in the Xperia series. The handset is dustproof as well as waterproof. Sony Xperia Acro HD or Sony Hayate isn’t officially out for sale yet, and will go on sale this March. There hasn’t been any word on the pricing of the handset as of yet.
