Sony Xperia Yuga Specs Leak Revealing Exynos 5 Quad , 16MP Camera, 3GB RAM and More

It has been some time since Sony has started hinting at coming out with a smartphone that would compete with iPhone5 and Samsung Galaxy S3. This could be a reality soon if the rumour of Sony launching their flagship model of C660X Xperia Yuga model turns out to be true.

The new Sony model is getting ready with some of the latest specifications in terms of processor and display. This rumour came in one of the posters in IT168 forums.

The poster suggests the possibility of this Sony Xperia Yuga featuring an Exynos 5 quad chipset, which is arguably one of the most advanced processors around. Along with this high end processor, the phone is expected to have a 16 MP rear end camera and a 5 inch OLED display screen. It could be a totally different visual experience with a 1080p resolution support for display.

To round of these amazing specs, Sony's new model will have 3GB RAM, 12 GB of built in storage space and then a 3000 MAh battery. Ofcourse this phone would be water and dust proof and will have all standard connectivity options with a significant addition being the IR port.

Sony brand lovers could be more than happy as there is every possibility that this is not just a rumour in the air. We can trust most of these specifications as there have been many models which have been featuring many of them, but not one model has come in which has all these together. The only doubtful element in this rumored spec list is the 5 quad processor coming in 3300 MAh battery device.

Performance of even quad core A15 chipsets are not up to the desired expectations in 3000 MAh battery devices, this throws some doubt over the suitability of a 5 quad chipset working optimally in this battery power. There were also rumors earlier that this model could be having a 12 MP camera which contradicts with the current spec list which shows 16 MP camera.

We need to wait till the event early next year to confirm this, but if this is true, then Samsung and Apple better watch out for this!!
