Nokia Corporation is the third largest smart phone manufacturer in the world. The company is renowned for producing very high end phones which are very reliable and durable.

Gadget fans are always on the look out for new mobiles and recently they were able to get the details of a new mobile from Nokia. The mobile is set to be launched in China.

The images and the specs of the devices where leaked from Telecommunication equipments certification centre in China. The Chinese blogs and mobile websites are now flooding with specs and details of the mobile.

The phone which is named Nokia 801T is a dual mode mobile and the pictures show that the design of the mobile is quite stylish. The phone has dimensions of 125.12 mm x 64.97 mm x 11.57 mm and weighs only 171 gram. The device comes in two color combination.

The front portion consists of a full size touch screen display with Nokia label on the top. There are no buttons in the front that are visible. The rear side consists of the imaging device along with the flash. The back cover that encases the battery is made in a glossy color finish and all the rest of the mobile seems to have a matte color finish.

Nokia 801T being a dual mode mobile means that it can very well work with GSM and TD-SCDMA networks. This means that it can work with almost all the networks around the world. The antenna in the device is of internal type. The 3G enabled devices can work in network frequencies of 900MHz, 1800MHz, 850MHz and 1900MHz. This means that it is a quad-band device.

The phone features a 4.3 inch screen which has a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. The screen has a color depth of 16 million vibrant colors. The imaging device in the phone is an 8 mega pixel camera. There is an LED flash provided just below the camera and the camera is assumed to have auto focus and video recording capabilities.

One notable thing in the mobile is that it features Nokia Symbian 3 platform. This may seem like as slightly out dated version since Nokia device are getting the newest windows platform now. The phone will possibly run on Symbian Anna or Symbian Belle version.

A lot of connectivity options are provided in the pone and they include WAP and GPRS. The phone has PNX6718 chipset as its core chip.

This fast processor is expected to give the user a very fast and efficient internet browsing as well as other multimedia experience. The phone also has GPS support, so you won’t get lost in unknown territory. Users may download the required maps and install it in their phone for future use.

Nokia 801T price in India is not announced yet, but it can be expected to be affordable.
