One of the new entrants in the smartphone business - Speed Mobiles today announced the launch of its newest smartphone - the Speed S50. Priced at MRP 8,500 and the best buy of Rs. 7,900, the latest smartphone from the company might have to battle a way across the likes of Xiaomi, Micromax, Karbonn and others.

The phone is powered with feature of Gesture Sensor. It helps to operate the device by a simple motion like the wave of the hand by the user.

Speed S50: Key Specification

Talking about the specs, the Speed S50 measures 7.6mm, and has a 5-inch IPS-OGS display. It is powered by a quad core 1.3 GHz processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and the smartphone runs on KitKat 4.4.2 version.

Internal memory seats at 8GB, which is further expandable up to 32 GB via an external Micro SD Card.

Speed S50 also houses an 8 MP Auto Focus rear camera with LED flash light, and a 2 MP front camera which enables the users to video call.

The user is also enabled with a wide range of connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth V4.0+EDR. The Speed S50 has a 1750 mAh powering the system inside.

The phone is being offered in two distinct colors- Deep Ink Blue and Ivory White along with additional accessories i.e. flat cable-earphones, a flip cover worth Rs. 600/- and two screen protectors, absolutely free.
