Spice Android One Dream Uno Hands-On and First Look: Battery and Verdict

The Spice Android One Dream Uno comes with a 1,700mAh battery unit. And that kind of a battery unit is normally expected to offer decent battery back up. Especially for a handset bearing more a 4.5-inch display.

Hence, guessing by the numbers here, you should at least get a day worth back up from the battery. Although heavy usage could land you up with somewhere around 8 hours of back up. But more on the battery will be found out with the full review for the same.

As far as an early verdict is concerned, we are liking what we are seeing here. The new Spice handset in this deal is as good a handset that you will get in this price tag. But the best part about is that it doesn't ever look like a handset that falls in the budget category.

It offers you exactly what all you need. Nothing less, nothing more. And although the rear cover and the cheap plastic for it maybe an issue for a few, we see this handset doing better in long term. And we are happy for Spice for finally offering a handset that looks so good with decent specs.

While we aren't saying that the handset will be the best in the lot among all others in the same price range, it seems like the Dream Uno is a brilliant initiative from the handset maker in entering the segment that so popular in native standards. And backed by Android One, it will indeed go the distance.
