NCR based Spice Mobility , one of the fastest growing tech vendor has tied up with Chinese brand Coolpad. Under the agreement, Spice will be seen selling Spice Coolpad Mi-515 in the Indian market. The phone which was spotted online gets official lately. The device is priced at Rs. 9990 in the market. It will face tough competition, as the price is quite attractive.

If we look at the specifications, the handset comes with a 5-inch qHD display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM. The internal memory can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. You also find a 5-mega pixel rear facing camera on the back with Auto Focus and LED Flash. On the front a VGA quality camera is given. The makers packed a 2000mAh Li Ion battery. Other highlighted connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, Dual SIM, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Spice Coolpad Mi- 515 measures 9.9 in terms of thickness and weighs 161 grams.

If we look at the competitors then you can find a growing list of handsets priced around Rs. 10,000. Most of the Indian tech vendors have priced their high-end handsets between Rs. 8000 - Rs. 15,000.
