Google's Android One initiative has been under the radar since it was first announced at this years Google I/O event. Since then there have been a lot of developments in this regard with September 15 becoming the final date of the unveiling for Android One. And we hanven't been disappointed either.
With the new Android One initiative well on its way, new smartphones have already come out from manufacturers who had already in the mix. As you may know by now, Google has partnered with three local OEMs in India - Micromax, Karbonn and Spice to make the new intiative a possibility.
While Karbonn has struck an exclusive partnership with Snapdeal, Micromax has done the same with Amazon and Spice via Flipkart. It is also to be noted that all 3 firms have confirmed that their Android One smartphones will be available to buy starting 3:30pm IST Monday on their respective exclusive online retailer partners.
