Spice introduces new Affordable price entertainment phone: Spice M5220

The mobile phone comes in dual tone colour scheme and has a mono block design. The front portion houses the display as well as the alpha numeric keypad. There is a one touch FM button and dedicated keys for music in the front. The keypad has a soft rubbery feel to it and is very suitable to type out texts and other information.

The 1.96 screen has colour display. The 176 x 220 pixels resolution of the screen cannot be considered as cutting edge but sure gets the job done. On the contrary to provide such a display in a budget phone is a very impressive and bold move by the company. The screen is sufficiently big so that you can see the messages and other texts with very much ease. There is an integrated camera too that lets you shoot pictures on the move.

For entertainment purpose the phone is provided with a multimedia player. It supports most of the common audio and video file formats. There is a wireless FM radio too. It is wireless in the sense that you don’t need to attach the head phones to the handset for the radio to function. This is the common practice in most of the mobile phones since the headphone attachment is made to act as the receiving antenna.

Spice M5220 comes with a price tag of just around Rs. 2,600. This is a very moderate price to pay for such a good quality and practical handset.
