India-based smartphone maker Spice Telecom has today launched its latest affordable device - the Stellar 518 in India. The device has started selling via online retailer Saholic at the very budget-friendly price of Rs. 7,799.

One of the major highlighted part of the specs of the newly released device is the massive battery of 4000mAh capacity. This is one of the devices which will be possibly rival against Gionee's M2 smartphone that comes powered by 4200 mAh battery.

The Spice Stellar 518 sports a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with a 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. The smartphone houses 8GB of internal memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB with microSD card.

In the imaging aspect, the new offering from Spice uses 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.3MP front-facing snapper as well.
