However, Karbonn Titanium S9 could be compared with the Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 in the best way as both these devices come with a very similar features and specs. Take a look:

Display

Both Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 and Karbonn Titanium S9 comes packed with a similar 5.5-inch Capacitive LCD touchscreen HD display which offers a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The only difference can be found in the quality of display. Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 comes with TFT technology while Karbonn Titanium S9 comes with IPS screen which is comparatively better than TFT display.

OS, Processor and RAM

Karbonn Titanium S9 and Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 both run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and are also powered by a similarly clocked quad core processor, rated at 1.2 GHz. They both feature 1GB RAM.

Camera

Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 features 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED Flash, 1080p full HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Karbonn wins over the former handset as it features an aggressive 13 MP rear camera with Auto-Focus and Flash while on the front face of the phablet it has got a premium 5MP camera.

Storage

Karbonn Titanium S9 comes with a 16GB internal memory and a microSD card slot that supports upto 32GB. While Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 houses an 8GB internal memory which is expandable memory up to 32GB.

Connectivity

Both come with a regular set of connectivity options like 3G, WiFI, Bluetooth and USB and also both the phablets support dual SIM.

Battery

Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 draws its energy from a lesser powered battery rated at 2500 mAh when compared to Karbonn Titanium S9's 2600 mAh battery.

Price and Availability

The Spice Pinnacle Stylus comes in Black color and is priced at Rs. 15,499 on Saholic. However the official launch is expected soon. On the other hand Karbonn Titanium S9 was initially priced at Rs. 19,990 but one of the e-commerce sites now writes that the handset costs Rs. 17,990. However, this handset is not available as of now.

Conclusion

After going through the comparative rundown of the specs of the two phablets, one can easily say that they both have almost everything in common. Evidently, there are minimal differences like the display quality where as Karbonn wins over Spice's TFT display with IPS screen. Another difference between the two devices is the internal storage capacity, where, again Spice looses with 8GB. Karbonn has offered 16GB internal storage to its Titanium S9 phablet.

However, given the price of both the handsets, both are equally powerful handsets when compared to other devices at the same price range. There is a difference of roughly Rs. 2,000 between the prices of the devices. One can compromise on the IPS display and 16 GB internal storage of the Karbonn Titanium S9 and buy Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 if their budget doesn't allow.
