Spice Smart Flo Glam Mi-357 With Dual SIM Support Launched For Rs 3,299
One the the smartphone brands, which has been trying to come in par with the domestic vendors like Micromax and Karbonn in the Indian market is Spice Mobility. The company has already got a number of low-end devices selling in the Indian stores but it has not yet made any intentions of hitting the mid-to-high end smartphone market.
However, the company has now added one more affordable device in the market called as Smart Flo Glam Mi-357. It falls in the company's popular Smart Flo series which has been doing pretty good in the market. The smartphone is selling via a third party online retailer Saholic at a very affordable price of Rs. 3,299. It can be bought in Black and Blue color variants.

The device is very cheap and thus comes with a basic specs. It comes with a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor coupled with a very low 256MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.
Despite the very low-end price of the device, Spice is offering a 2MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 1.3MP front-facing shooter.
The sad part of the device is that it doesn't come with a 3G connectivity. You get only 2G EDGE, WiFi and Bluetooth. But you will also get a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM ) with Dual Standby support in the handset.
The entry-level smartphone comes with a minimum native storage of 512MB. But somehow, Spice has added a MicroSD card slot in the device which can enable the user to expand the memory up to 32GB.
The device which measures 13mm thick and weighs135 grams comes with a 1400 mAh battery.
In the progressive smartphone market, launching a device with no 3G connectivity is close to coming up with a feature phone. Spice could have at least offered either a 3G connectivity or a better battery capacity in the phone. The good part lies in the Dual SIM support, which the company somehow managed to use in the device. But Indian smartphone market is filled with low-end smartphones and thus competition is inevitable. Against this particular phone from Spice, Intex Cloud X3 would be the right opponent.
