After Lava, Intex and Videocon, here comes another Indian tech vendor with low cost dual-core smartphone. The Spice Stellar Glamor (Mi-436) is an upcoming handset. First spotted by Fonearena, the device is yet to be officially launched in the market. Spice has just started creating pre-buzz about the device on company's official Facebook page and website. It is yet another low cost phone powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and reasonably large enough display.
Let's have a look at the specifications of the device. The Spice Glamor (Mi-436) comes with a 4-inch display having resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1.2-GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 5-mega pixel camera at the rear back with LED Flashlight and VGA quality front facing camera. Like other new age devices, this very phone comes with 3G connectivity and dual SIM. The makers have added a 1,400mAh Li Ion battery. Other connectivity includes: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS, among others.
In the recent days, especially, Indian tech vendors are coming with affordable smartphones with latest version of Android and dual-core processor. The competition is cut throat in this segment. In the coming days, we could see established International players like Samsung and LG coming up with dual-core phones under Rs. 7,000 price bracket.
GizBot has come up with top 5 handsets with similar specifications. Well, the price of Spice Stellar Glamor (Mi-436) is not out yet officially. It should be priced around Rs. 5,800, as per GizBot estimates.

The Intex Cloud Y2 packs a 4-inch display. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4GB ROM (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 5-mega pixel rear facing camera on the rear. Also add a VGA quality camera on the front. The makers have added a 1,500mAh Li Ion battery. Other connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, A-GPS, among others.
Lava 3G 402
It comes with a 4-inch WVGA display having resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It packs a 1.2-GHz dual-core processor coupled with 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card). The phone supports dual SIM phone and 3G connectivity. There's a 3-mega pixel rear facing camera on the back and on the front VGA quality camera is given. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.. The makers have added a 1,500mAh Li Ion battery inside. The handset measures 11.4mm in terms of thickness and weighs including 124grams battery.
ZTE Blade C
This Dual SIM + 3G phone comes with above average internal specifications. The Blade C comes with a 4-inch WVGA display having resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Under the hood, there is a dual core processor (1.2 GHz) coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM (expandable) are given. The phone is powered by 4.1 Jelly Bean. There's a 3-mega pixel rear facing camera, while the front camera is missing. The device is thick at 11.9mm and weighs 130grams. Other features include: 3G, Dual SIM, 1600mAh Li Ion battery, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Asha 501 packs a 3-inch low resolution display having resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. There's a 3.2-mega pixel camera on the rear back, while the front camera is missing. The phone comes with 40 pre loaded games powered by EA. The internal memory stands at 4GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Alongside, Asha 501, the company has revamped Symbian S40 platform compatible with new age smartphones. There is a feature called ‘Fastlane', which basically brings swipe motion gestures to reality. Connectivity features like Wi-Fi is there, but 3G connectivity is missing. Nokia says the phone has an incredible battery life of 48 days in standby and 17 hours of talk time.
