Spice Mobiles unexpectedly seems to have cultivated an interest to come in phablet section. Priced at Rs 8,499, Spice Mobiles has recently unveiled its latest product in the phablet segment, Stellar Horizon Pro Mi-505.

Stellar Horizon Pro features a 5 inch WVGA screen that offers 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a dual-core processor clocked to 1GHz and is backed by 512MB RAM. The phablet runs on the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) platform. The phone has internal storage capacity of 4GB and offers microSD support up to 32GB.

The phablet houses 5MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 1.3MP camera is placed in the front for voice call. Regarding connectivity, the phone offers features like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. Measuring 9.6mm along the waist, this phone is powered by a 2,100mAh battery that is said to offer 4 hours of talk time.

Reportedly, T M Ramakrishnan, CEO - Devices, S Mobility Ltd said, "We have received phenomenal success with Stellar Horizon Mi-500 launched last year. We have followed it up with this enhanced version with exciting features at a more attractive price point. We are confident the Horizon Pro will offer best value for money to its users."

This device comes pre-loaded with apps like YouTube, an MP3 player, Facebook and a GPS Navigation. As an introductory offer the phone comes with Spice's proprietary NetQin antivirus app, along with a free leather cover and screen guard worth Rs 500. This device comes with a dual-sim support, wherein both the sim cards can access 3G networks. this phone is available across major retailers as well as the ecommerce website of Spice Group.
