Most of the smartphone makers including the ones based in India have been trying to use Android KitKat flavor on their latest handsets, and the recent entrant in the same category is Spice. The company officially launched its first KitKat phone called the Stellar Mi-600 at the price of Rs. 9,999 a day ago.
However, there are already more than dozen phones now available in the market with the Android KitKat OS. Moreover, all these can be bought in a very affordable price. Thus today GizBot has come up with the top ten rival against the recently launched Spice phone. But before heading on to the rival devices, you might want to check out the specs of the Stellar Mi-600.
Spice Stellar Mi-600 comes with a 6-inch touchscreen IPS display offering a resolution of 960 ×540 pixels and it is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The handset runs Android KitKat OS. There is an average imaging hardware used in the device. It consists of 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and 3.2MP front-facing shooter.
Native storage seats at 4GB but it is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS / aGPS and additionally it is a Dual SIM handset with dual standby. The latest phablet from Spice is pretty big and measures 149.4 x 74.9 x 9.3 mm and weighs 175 grams. The 2500 MAh battery gives a talk-time of more than 5 hours and up to 170 hours standby ensuring a strong battery backup. Stellar 600 comes with a free Smart Flip Cover worth Rs. 500.
Applications like Spice Cloud, Whatsapp, Opera, OLX etc come pre-loaded in the Spice Stellar 600. It has excellent features like Wi-Fi Tethering and G-sensor among others. Spice Cloud provides Spice customers with Cloud Backup of 2GB free Data storage and seamless access to user photos, documents, music, videos and contacts across the devices along with advanced security and anti-theft features.
