In case you have been living under a rock all this while, let us tell you that China-based handset makers have found a heaven in the Indian smartphone market. While the likes of Xiaomi and Gionee are already making it big, more new names are set to arrive in the coming months.
Keeping the tradition up, Chinese handset maker IUNI is all set to go global in a few days time. For the time being, IUNI isn't really a known name outside China. However, everything has a start, and this is a start for IUNI.
The company launched the IUNI U2 earlier this year with a lot of hopes and anticipations all around. And while you wonder what's the big deal here that so much noise is being made for a potentially unknown handset maker, the fact is that the device was set to arrive as a HTC One M8 killer.
"IUNI have concluded this week's teasers with a simple Weibo post with the date 26th August, the date their next smartphone will be unveiled," writes GizChina.
"This will be the second ever Android smartphone from IUNI and also their second launch of the year, an amazing achievement for a software start-up, however their ties to Gionee must help somewhat."
IUNI U3: Highlighted Specifications
Going by what the device's specifications have to offer, The IUNI U3 is set to arrive with a slim body with 5.5-inch display. The device panel will be a QHD 2k model.
In fact, the phone could be the first Mediatek MT6595 phone on the market, although some have pointed that the "4 x 2″ teaser for it could also hint at dual 4G standby.
