Swipe Konnect 5.0 Smartphone Launched At Rs 8,999 with Quad Core and 8MP Camera: Top 10 Rivals

Smartphone, in terms of their shapes and sizes, come in a host of variants. While some adopt the smaller screen size, others opt for a bigger presence in your hand (but lesser than a tablet), while others stick to area in between.

Going by this size factor, the fablet sector has recently been of much craze among fans and tech enthusiasts alike. The phablet offering first came into being with the first ever Galaxy Note smartphone, and has since then been gaining popularity.

Sticking to the phablet factor, Indian smartphone vendor, Swipe has launched its latest 5-inch handset in India, in the popular Konnect series.

The Swipe Konnect 5.0, currently available at Rs 8,999, comes in black and white color options and the company is also offering a free screen guard, flip cover and premium business navigator worth Rs.1,499 with the handset.

As far as specs are concerned, Swipe Konnect 5.0 comes with a 5-inch (960 ×540 pixels) qHD capacitive touch screen IPS display and it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.

The smartphone is quite impressive in terms of camera and the pricing, as it comes with an 8MP rear camera with OmniVision sensor and LED flash and a 3.2 megapixel front-facing shooter as well. Internal memory is seated at 8GB, however, you will also get an option to expand it up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity option includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and obviously it is a Dual SIM handset.

Swipe Konnect 5.0 measures 148x74x8.9mm and weighs in at 135 grams, while being powered by a1950mAh battery.
