Vertu have been criticized for making their handsets, as more of a fashion accessory than a piece of technology. Perhaps, the Vertu Ti be able to bring a better perspective, in the eyes of tech-analysts. "Long-standing Vertu customers will appreciate the style, the weight and the materials while those yet to experience Vertu products will engage with the clean, elegant lines, superior feel and contemporary operation." he added.
Ti's casing is crafted out of Grade 5 titanium, a low weight, yet sturdy material. Vertu claims the casing is 5 times stronger then that of a conventional smartphone.
The Vertu Ti was never meant compete with some of the high end phones out, it is aa symbol of class and elegant craftsmanship. According to the the company the handset is handcrafted out of 184 parts, by a single craftsman. Every handset is signed by the craftsman who fabricated it.
