Tizen-powered Samsung Z2 Smartphone Apparently Surfaces in New Leaked Report
Samsung hasn't openly talked about the sequel to the company's first Tizen-based smartphone, the Z1. But there have been numerous leaks about the device's existence.
A new report from TizenIndonesia suggests the Samsung is keen to bring the second generation Tizen-powered handset into the market. The report claims that the device will arrive with the same 4-inch display, but a 960 x 540 resolution.

Little is known about the so-called Samsung Tizen Z2, but it's expected to close resemble the original device. If true, then the Z2 should still feel like a mid-end smartphone, so we're not too worried about that. We are however concerned how Samsung will improve the software experience on the Samsung Z2.
While the first-generation Tizen-based has got negative publicity, meanwhile, Business Korea reports that the Samsung sold over 100,000 Z1 Tizen smartphones since January 14, with Bangladesh seeing sales volume of 20,000 units since February 3.

To recap, the Samsung Z1 comes with 4-inch display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Spreadtrum processor, 768MB of RAM, 1,500mAh battery, 3G, Wi-Fi, and a 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera. It is priced at Rs. 5,700 in the Indian handset market.
Samsung has been working hard to uplift its Tizen OS. The company's latest smartwatch lineup and more important TVs are already powered by Tizen operating system (OS).
