Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri: Monstrously Expensive Android smartphone Launched at CES 2015
No it can't be!! Tonino Lamborghini has made an appearence in the Annual Consumer Electronic Show 2015, Las Vegas with its own ultrapremium Android smartphone, dubbed as Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri, yes you heard that right folks.
The storied car-maker made a grand entrance in CES 2015 by launching their own Android smartphone which looked exactly and unbelieveably like a Lamborghini.
What makes its so premium is the share of premium materials, like nine different colors of calfskin leather over three treatments of stainless steel. These include black, silver, and genuine gold-plate. The glass covering the phone's 5-inch 1080p display is also special as Lamborghini says that the company customized it to be shatterproof and scratch-proof, in fact the same glass has been used in Lamborghini's Spidey, Aventador.

The Android 4.4.4 KitKat based handset shoot 20-megapixel photos from the rear camera and 8-megapixel snaps from the front shooter. The 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor is proven to be very fast (though we're now on Snapdragon 810), and the 3GB RAM is a healthy dose. We also get to see a 3,400mAh battery and 64GB of possible expandable memory on this dual-SIM device. As reports states, the phone went on sale today and will be sold in extremely limited quantity. To be precise 1,947 models to mark the 1947 founding of Lamborghini.
The 88 Tauri's price tag has been set for $6,000 (approx Rs. 3,81,509) but unfortunately this Lambo doesn't reach to 0-60 MPH in a few secs.
