Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S2

Samsung slashed the prices of three of its products including Galaxy S3, Galaxy S3 and galaxy note. Galaxy S3, the current flagship smartphone of the South Korean tech giant was initially released in India in june with a price tag of Rs 41,300 approximately for the 16GB variant. However, the handset was available for a price of Rs 38,000 approximately. With the announcement of the iPhone 5 by Apple in mid-September, Samsung slashed the price of galaxy S3 to Rs 34,900.
Following the price cut of Galaxy S3, Samsung also slashed the prices of Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note. Despite of the scoring sales made by these devices, the company has slashed their prices, creating shock waves among the tech enthusiasts. The price of Galaxy Note is reduced from Rs 32,700 to Rs 29,900 while that of Galaxy S2 is slashed from Rs 27,900 to Rs 25,900.
Samsung Galaxy S3
Galaxy S3 sports a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a quad core 1.4 GHz Exynos 4 quad processor and 1GB RAM. Furthermore, it has an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 1.9MP front camera for video calling.
The smartphone comes with Android 4.0 ICS operating system out of the box and will receive the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean roll-out soon. The smartphone packs a powerful Li-ion 2,100 mAh battery. Currently, only the 16 GB and 32 GB variants of the smartphone are available.

Samsung Galaxy S2
The Galaxy S2 has a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The handset has an ARM cortex A9 based 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front facing camera, micro SD card slot for up to 32GB expandable memory support and 1,650 mAh Li-ion battery.
Moreover, the handset comes in two variants – 16GB and 32GB internal memory. On the connectivity front, the Galaxy S2 has Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC and micro USB 2.0 features.
Though the handset was released with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, it was upgraded to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS a couple of months back and it is slated to receive the Jelly Bean OS update soon.
