The first smartphone brand in India to use the Intel chipsets - Xolo has been considerable building an intense competition among the domestic OEMs.

The maker of Q Core series, which is a premium smartphone arm of Lava has come up with a several smartphones this year and all are progressively better than then the other one. Recently, the company launched if its KitKat flavored device at a budget-friendly price called by the name of Xolo Q600s which stands as a direct competitor against Micromax Canvas Unite 2, Canvas Engage, and even Moto E for that matter.

However, since the company has not used its strength in promoting the brand like the way Micromax has been doing, its falling behind. However, the company can thus start marketing its products in a better way to boost its sales.

Micromax, according to the Q1 2014 report from IDC is at the second place yet again with Karbonn, trying to catch up in the race where Samsung is leading enormously.
