LG's last flagship phone, the G2, was launched way back in 2013. Now, it's time to look forward to LG's next-gen handset. With the upcoming G3 handset, LG will likely to give tough battle to both Samsung and HTC. The forthcoming LG G3 is expected to flaunt a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The handset will reportedly feature buttons on the back just like the original G2.

As far as specs are concerned, LG's new big-ticket phone will incorporate a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, and the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the-box with LG's new UI on top of it. The phone is said to feature a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS+ feature, alongside a large battery life fitted inside.

LG will launch the G3 flagship handset on May 27.

The sequel to Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom will arrive soon in India. This camera centric phone comes with a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display offering an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by Hexa-Core (1.7 GHz Dual Core + 1.3 GHz Quad Core) Exynos (5260) processor and Mali-T624 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM. The device comes loaded with Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS with the latest Samsung Touchwiz UX.

It uses a 20.7MP rear camera with Xenon Flash, BSI Sensor, OIS and 10x optical zoom. It is capable of shooting 1080p video at 60 fps. Moreover, the company has also used a 2MP front-facing shooter to offer video calling and taking selfies. It has AF/AE Separation (Auto Focus/ Auto Exposure Separation), Pro Suggest with 5 optimized filter settings, Selfie Alarm to take timed selfies, object tracing and more. Native storage seats at 8GB and it is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

Launched earlier this year in China, the much hyped Oppo Find 7 features a Quad HD (2560 x 1400) pixels resolution screen, and churns out 538ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with a layer of Color OS 1.2 on top. There is a 3GB RAM supporting the CPU.

There is a 13MP rear camera with Dual-mode LED Flash, Sony Exmor BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording along with a 5MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The impressive part is that it uses software enhancements to images at 50-megapixel (8,160 x 6,120 pixels) resolution by capturing.

The camera is also capable of shooting RAW images and has 4K video recording. The device comes with 32 GB internal memory unit which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In connectivity section, users will find 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG support as well.

The Chinese smartphone maker Huawei could launch its flagship handset, the Ascend P7, in India sooner than expected. The Huawei Ascend P7 comes with a 5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS touch-sensitive display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by Huawei's proprietary Kirin 910T 1.8 GHz quad-core processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM and it runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with company's own Emotion UI 2.3 on top. Imaging technology used in the device consist of a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony's BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture and Huawei's proprietary Image Signal Processor (ISP), LED flash and 5P non-spherical lens. At the front, you will be amazed to see an 8MP front-facing camera with 5P non-spherical lens. Thus you can take excellent selfies and make high quality video calls over 4G LTE network.

The device houses a native storage capacity of 16GB and is expandable by up to 32GB via microSD card. But you will get all possible connectivity options which include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and NFC.

LG is planning to launch the G2 Mini in India by the end of Q2 2014. The miniature version of the phone recently went on sale in select global markets worldwide. The device is a smaller version of the G2 handset, and costs a lot less than the original LG G2. It features a 4.7-inch qHD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing shooter, and a modest 2440mAh battery fitted inside.
