This week India witnessed a number of low-end smartphone launches. The most incredible one which was launched was from Micromax Unite 2 which comes with the best of the specs and OS and at the lowest of the price.
At the same time, iBall made three phones official which was launched in its popular Andi4 series. All these handsets are priced in the same range- Rs. 6,000.
What is best about the Micromax Unite 2 smartphone is that the company has released the handset at the price of Rs. 6,999. It has a surprising specs and software. First of all, it comes with Android KitKat OS out of the box, plus you also get a quad core processor with it.
This is no doubt the most potential handset which will stand as a direct rival against the recently launched Motorola Moto E which comes with a same Android KitKat version.
Additionally, Micromax is also offering a better Megapixel cameras in the Unit 2 smartphone. If you are not aware, the India-based smartphone maker is also on the verge of launching one more similar handset called the Canvas Engage. The handset also runs on Android KitKat OS and is said to be priced lesser than Rs. 6,000 range.

Camera-wise, the handset is pretty decent as it uses a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and it also features a front-facing VGA shooter. It houses 2GB of internal memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD. However, the onl7y drawback the phone has is the lack of 3G connectivity. The iBall Andi4 IPS GEM sports a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touch screen IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor coupled with a same 256MB RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. Camera hardware also remains the same like in the Andi4 IPS Velvet with the inclusion of 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a front-facing VGA unit. Also storage capacity is similar. The only difference you will find in this phone is the 3G HSPA+ connectivity option. Others like WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, GPS and Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) are also offered by the company. It is also powered by a same 1300 mAh battery capacity.
Motorola Moto E
Price: Rs. 6,999
Motorola Moto E features a 4.3-inch display offering a resolution of 960x540 pixels resolution. The Moto E is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor along with Adreno 302 GPU alongside 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out-of-the-box.
The affordable handset Motorola comes with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera on the back side, but does not feature a LED flash and front facing shooter. The makers have added a 1,989mAh battery to power the handset.
