Unboxing The Micromax Yu Yureka [VIDEO]

Micromax and Cyanogenmod have partnered up and the first device to be born of that partnership is the Micromax Yureka also known as the Micromax Yu. We received the phone some time ago. Whenever we get a new phone delivered to us, we all become ecstatic because we quite simply love phones! Adding to that we were especially pleased to get the first Micromax Phone with Cyanogenmod.

The box it came in was made of cardboard and was in it's raw form. There was no added layer to the cardboard and the logo's were printed straightonto it. The box was in the shape of a square kind of like the One Plus One box. The contents of the box were of course the phone, the wall adapter and USB cable and the earphones. The cables were all white whereas the phone was black and grey. The overall quality of packaging was quite nice and this show a move forward for Micromax.

The phone is quite big, almost the size of the iPhone 6 plus and so as soon as you opened the box the whole left side consisted of the phone while the left had a small box for the cable and wall mount. On picking up the phone it felt nice and light. My first reaction was how much the Micromax Yureka looks like the iPhone, but on using the phone more you realise that it is nothing like an iPhone.

The Micromax Yureka comes with Cyanogenmod which is simply amazing to use. The amount of customisation is great and it make using the device more fun. On first look of the Micromax Yureka, I have to say that I was quite impressed.
