Viewsonic V350 & Viewpad 4 To Launch Next Week
Many brands like Intex and Videocon who were engaged in making electronic equipments like Television sets, computers and computer accessories etc has now made successful entries in the Indian mobile segment. This success has only served as an inspiration for many more waiting to enter.
The latest in the list of fresh faces in the Mobile segment is Viewsonic. They have decided to launch one Android powered mobile phone and another tablet in the Indian market.
There had been reports claiming that the company was planning to launch 2 new tablets in the Indian market but this report about handsets is now making the headlines. The models to be launched are christened Viewsonic V350 and the Viewsonic Viewpad 4.
The Viewsonic V350 will be Android 2.2 powered handset and will be sporting a new 3D interface. The Viewpad 4 on the other hand will have a new Viewsonic interface that goes well with the large 4.1 inch capacitive touch screen based display. The V350 will have a smaller 3.5 inch touch screen based display. It will be the second Android powered Dual SIM phone in India after the Spice Mi270. The Viewsonic V350 offers Dual SIM standby and thus facilitates support for multiple networks at the same time.
The phones are both jam-packed with features and specs pertaining to multimedia options and connectivity solutions. The Viewsonic V350 will be equipped with a HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive full touch screen based display. It will also feature a 5 Mega Pixel camera that allows video recording in HD in addition to providing standard Smartphone facilities such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with EDR, 3G connectivity for super fast internet services and FM radio with RDS. It also supports assisted GPS navigation.
The Viewsonic V350 is expected to be priced in and around Rs 17000. With this price tag it is expected to give a tough competition to some of the leaders in this space.
Both the Viewsonic V350 and the Viewsonic Viewpad 4 will offer around 8 customizable home screens in addition to the new 3D interface.
