It appears that yet another Chinese handset maker is going to enter Indian market soon. A few days back, it was reported that China's Vivo will enter India, and now the company has begun sending media invites that should officially reveal the X5 Max smartphone.
The event will take place on December 15, in Delhi. The official press invites reads: "The countdown begins...Vivo Mobile, with its slimmest phone in the world is about to enter your life." The press invite clearly predicts that the star of the show is going to be the new Vivo X5 Max.
Vivo already confirmed that they will announce the X5 Max, the world's slimmest smartphone, on December 10 in China. If rumors have anything to say, the X5Max will be 3.96mm thick, which is even thinner than the Oppo R5. Earlier reports had suggested that the device would measure 4.75mm thick.
According to media reports, the Vivo X5 Max will come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, microSD card support, a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter. It will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat.
We'll be at the event on December 15 which starts at 11:30am onwards. Expect live coverage as well as hands-on review. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
