Vivo X5 Max: At 4.75mm, This New Smartphone is the World's Thinnest
The ever-growing progressive market has laid another pitch for competition for fast moving smartphone makers. The ground where the new smartphone makers are rivaling with each other is the thickness or thinness, whichever suits you.

The thinness of the smartphone was a challenge for most manufacturers for the first time was when Gionee launched the 5.5mm thin Elife S5.5. No other smartphone makers could beat that. However, that's why Gionee should have then thought, why not break our own record? They successfully launched the next thinner phone the Elife S5.1, which was recorded as the slimmest smartphone on earth by Guiness World Records.

Around one month later, Oppo introduced the R5, which, at 4.85 mm, became the newest king of ultra-thin smartphones. Gionee lost the crown there. But it looks like not even Oppo will be able to pocket the new record for a long time.
Another Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is already getting the certification work done in China for the new thinnest smartphone of the world. Called X5 Max, which measures only 4.75 mm thin is soon going to take the charm out of Gionee and Oppo in one shot. If you are wondering about the full dimension of the Vivo X5 Max, the phone measures 153.9 x 78 x 4.75 mm.
