Vivo Y929 Smartphone Spotted at TENAA with 4G, 13MP Camera [Report]

It seems Chinese handset manufacturer Vivo is working on 4G enabled device, which was spotted at TENAA the Chinese equivalent to the FCC. This smartphone, codenamed Vivo Y929, has passed the certification process, and becomes eligible for sale in the Chinese market. During the process, some of the picture of this smartphone has been revealed.

Vivo Y929 - Key Specifications

Vivo Y929 will sport a 5-inch display with 720p touchscreen, also it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM. On the imaging factor, it is expected to be equipped with 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front snapper for selfies along with dual SIM slot.

According to the report, it will have a 16GB of built-in storage, which may be expanded via microSD card slot. If the rumors turns out to be true, it carries a dimension of 143.6 x 71.1 x 6.67 mm thickness,and weighs around 128grams. On the software front will be shipped with Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Vivo's FunTouch OS 2.0 on top.

This yet to be released Vivo Y929 could come powered by a 2000mAh battery and it might be supported by 4G connectivity also. Moving to the form factor, it will come made of metal frame and the fact that both the front and the back of this device are coated in Gorilla Glass 3. As per the report suggested, the expected price will be around CNY 2,198 (approx Rs. 21,921).
