As of now, the most eagerly awaited smartphone, Apple iPhone 6, is expected to get unveiled in just a few hours from now. However, Apple enthusiasts in other parts of the world need not feel low since the American company will be streaming live webcast of the launch event online.

The Apple event is currently scheduled to take place at - 'Flint Centre for the Performing Arts' in Cupertino, California, USA at local time 10:00 am PDT (22:30 PM IST), on 9 September. The event coverage will be streamed live on the company's official site.

Apple has prepared its own landing page specifically for the event, and has promised to stream all the action to that portal as it happens. The official Apple website added a live page that features a countdown timer as well as other details about the special event on Sept. 9.

As of now, the new iPhone 6 is set to be released alongside iWatch, which is Apple's take on the smartwatch industry. It will now rival the existing wearable devices from other tech companies such as Samsung and LG. Apple's smartwatch is also expected to offer more functions and capabilities compared to its rivals.
