India has become one of the most lucrative smartphone markets for LG and other premium smartphone makers. Thus, most of these top-tier manufacturers roll-out their flagship devices as soon as they get announced in the sub-continent. Today, India is on the verge of receiving the first QHD display featuring G3 smartphone from LG.
At an event that is taking place in Mumbai, India, LG will officially launch the G3 smarpthone and GizBot will be reporting from ground zero. LG G3 comes with a massive 5.5-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD IPS display churning out the pixel density of 538ppi and it is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It would be offered either with 2GB or 3GB RAM depending on the market with Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS.
Imaging aspect of the handset is pretty innovative as it features 13MP rear camera with OIS, Dual LED Flash and a new LG technology that uses Laser to Auto Focus and 4K video recording. You will also get a 2.1MP front-facing shooter.
LG will be offering 16GB / 32GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 128GB using microSD card and connectivity options will include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 , GPS, NFC and Slim Port. LG G3 comes powered by a 3000 mAh removable battery with a Qi wireless charging facility.
