Back in June, Micromax launched its first Android KitKat flavored budget smartphone in India for the first time. Soon after that the company announced similar devices one after another continuously.

And though the market maybe be favorable to companies like Samsung, Apple or Sony for that matter, it seems like Micromax is going to sweep the budget market. However, rival Karbonn is still at Micromax's tail watching all the moves of its rival. Despite the strict rivalry, with a presence in more than 560 districts through 125,000 retail outlets in India, the company is steadily rising among others in the ranks.

Anyways, today GizBot has come up with a video unboxing of the Micromax Unite 2 today. The device is priced at Rs. 7,649.

Micromax Unite 2: Key Specifications

Micromax Unite 2 comes with a 4.7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display. Further, Micromax Unite 2 is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and it runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), which can also be upgraded to later versions of the OS.

Imaging aspect of the device is handled by a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and 2MP front-facing shooter. Which is pretty decent in this price range. The latest Unite 2 also houses 4GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

Connectivty options include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. Additionally, it is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) handset with dual standby mode. It is powered by a 2000 mAh battery.

What is more impressive about the phone is that it supports more than 20 Indian languages apart from English.
