White HTC Sensation launches with Android ICS
When we think about Android smart phones from HTC one of the very first devices that get into our mind is HTC Sensation. This mobile was released sometime in the middle of last year and has got a huge welcoming. The presence of a powerful dual core processor and Android Gingerbread operating system stole customer’s heart.
The phone features a 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen display and an 8 mega pixel rear facing main camera too. At that time this phone was considered as one of the best smart phones to buy and the phone has a reasonable price tag. After that more and more smart phones have conquered the market but the demand for HTC Sensation is still very high.
Considering these prospects HTC has recently launched a new and improved version of the HTC Sensation. The new HTC will be made available in Ice white colour. Apart from the visual overhaul there is no change in hardware or specs. But in terms of software this phone won’t be running in Android Honeycomb, but in Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich version.
The visual appeal of the device has very much increased. The new white colour comes with a dash of grey colouring and the overall visual effect is amazing. The front portion is dominated by the screen so the effect of white colour is not prominent there. But when we turn over the device the white colour looks very eye catching. A wide metallic grey band runs across the middle and the HTC logo is embossed in it. The physical dimensions and weight of the device is same as that of the original model.
This phone works in Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich version right out of the box. The existing HTC Sensation customers would get the same update by the month of March. There is no change in hardware specifications so the overall improvement to the original phone can be summed up as a visual and firmware upgrade.
HTC Sensations price tag for the new white model is not announced as for now. We can expect that there won’t be much increase in price from the original titanium grey model. This phone is said to hit some parts of Europe very soon. The expected release date of the phone is around March and that is the same time that the original phones will be getting the Ice cream sandwich update.
