Recently, Wickedleak has announced to release the Android KitKat update to its Wammy Neo smartphone starting September 1 and now the company has officially launched its new smartphone called the Wammy Note 3 at the price of Rs. 12,990.
The latest offering from Wickedleak comes in Silk White and Dark Slate Black color variants and it would be available for sale through Wickedleak website starting September 1st.
What is interesting about the device is that it has S View Window support with the magnetic flip case that will be offered free with the phone. Also like its other devices, Wickedleak will also provide an optional Aquaprotect Water Resistant Technology at Rs. 1,500 extra that would let the smartphone sustain for more than 30 minutes in water.
Wickedleak Wammy Note 3: Key Specifications
The Wickedleak Wammy Note 3 uses a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD OGS panel and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.
The imaging aspect looks promising in the device as it uses a 13 Megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED Flash and 1080p video recording and a 5 Megapixel front-facing snapper. Further it also houses 8GB internal storage, which is also expandable up to 32 GB via MicroSD card.
Connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS and it is a Dual SIM smartphone. The device which measures 8.1 mm thick draws its energy from a massive 3800 mAh battery.
Since India has become the hub of affordable phones, the latest octa core powered smartphone from Wickedleak will surely have to battle against the other similar devices. To be precise about the phones that the latest entrant will have to battle, it would be HTC Desire 616, Panasonic P81, Gionee Elife S5.5, Micromax Canvas Gold and Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus among others.
