Wickedleak Wammy One Launched with Octa Core Processor at Rs 11,990

Adithya Mehta founded Mumbai-based tech firm in India, Wickedleak has launched a new octa core processor handset for the Indian market. Dubbed as Wammy One, has been launched at a price of Rs. 11,990.

As as part of introductory offer, Wickedleak is also offering Wammy One for Rs.7,990, but this offer is valid for limited time period only.

As per the company press release, Wickedleak Wammy One comes with an optional Aquaprotect Water Resistant Technology costing around Rs.1,500 which makes the phone water-proof for 30 minutes.

Aditya Mehta, CEO, Wickedleak Inc. said, "We are extremely happy and proud to launch Wickedleak Wammy One. We are targeting the masses by launching the smartphone at a very affordable price. Now gaming, watching movies and online videos will be an altogether new experience for users. We have brought down the price to offer better value to our users by monetizing the Android OS. This is in line with our future strategy and vision. We want to sell hardware at cost price by monetizing the software of a smartphone as we enter into strategic partnerships with app development companies."

Wammy One comes with 5 inch HD IPD One-glass-solution display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek True Octa-core processor with Cortex-A7 core, combined with 1 GB of RAM.

Further, Wammy One runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box,has 8 GB of internal memory which can be further expanded upto 32 GB via microSD card, supports 3G, employs 8 MP rear camera with BSI 2 Sensor along with LED flash, comes with 5 MP camera for Selfie and comes loaded with 2800mAh battery.

The Dual SIM phone will be available for purchase on WickedLeak website in two color variants including Black with Slate Grey and Crystal White with Gold.

The Dual SIM phone which supports 3G also employs 8 MP rear camera with BSI 2 Sensor along with LED flash. On front it has 5 MP camera for Selfie and video calling, and powered by 2800mAh battery.
