Unified Platform

Microsoft sees its "Windows 10" OS as one single integrated platform. Keeping that thing in mind, we're expecting Windows 10 to work across all platforms such as PC, Xbox, Mobiles, Tablets, 2-in-1, TVs and more.

New Browser

A new report from The Verge sheds light on the rumoured Spartan browser. Key details around the new browser have been kept under tight wraps; but the alleged report revealed that the rumoured browser will be have a new ways to group taps together. Microsoft's Spartan is going to rival Firefox and Chrome web browsers.

Windows 10 Mobile

Rumour has it that Windows Phone 10 will essentially integrate Microsoft's Windows Phone and Windows RT, allowing the same apps to be run on both phones and tablets. Meanwhile, some media reports even suggest that the Redmond-based giant could unveil a completely new device with unheard form factor.

Cortana

Cortana, Microsoft's Siri-like personal assistant that currently only runs on Windows Phone devices, could make its debut in the consumer preview version of Windows 10.

Release date of Windows 10 expected to be sometime late 2015. Meanwhile, if rumours are to be believed, Windows 10 will be free for existing Windows 8.1 users.
