Windows Phone 7.8 Update Leaked on NaviFirm for Lumia 800 & Lumia 510

It seems like the official release of Windows Phone 7.8 update is round the corner as the platform has been spotted on NaviFirm for Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 510 smartphones. NvaiFirm is an all-purpose tool that allows users to check and download Nokia firmware.

According to a report by WPCentral, the Chinese website WinP.cn has posted an image showing the number of builds available for download on Lumia 800 and Lumia 510 including the WP 7.8.

The leaked update is not only compatible to Lumia 800 and Lumia 510 smartphones, but, most of the other Windows Phone 7.5 Mango based handsets will receive the update.

Going by earlier reports, Windows 7.8 update will bring in a host of new features and enhancements to the current 7.5 version users like a brand new start screen, resizable Live tiles, the Bluetooth Share function, a new Store icon, a Ringtone Maker, App Highlights, Contact Transfer, a lock screen wallpaper option for Bing and additional Accent colors.
