Xiaomi Launches Mi4 With 5-Inch FHD Display, Snapdragon 801 CPU
China has produced a number of acclaimed smartphone makers over the past few years -- and Xiaomi is obviously one of them. Known for its well packaged handsets, Xiaomi on Tuesday launched the much hyped Mi4 smartphone, aimed at uber rich of China. The new phone is a latest weapon to take on the likes of Apple and Samsung in the high-end market.
The much talked about phone, Xiaomi Mi4, is a legitimate successor to the Mi3, which went on sale late last year. The new premium phone features a 5-inch Full HD display and a stainless steel metal frame. The handset also comes with changeable plastic covers.

The Latest Xiaomi Mi4 Smartphone Images
Xiaomi Mi4 is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device offers 16GB of on-board storage, while the premium most variant has a 64GB of internal space. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Killer runs on MIUI 6, a new version of the company's homebaked operating system, based on Android 4.4 KitKat mobile OS.
In the imaging department, Xiaomi Mi 4 has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, alongside an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. The makers have added a 3080mAh battery fitted inside.
As of now, the Chinese handset manufacture has not revealed the release date or price for the Mi4. Moreover, at the launch event which took place in Beijing, Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun also revealed that the company sold 26.11 million phones in H1 2014.
After China, this four year old company is concentrating its energies on Indian handset market. The Mi3, which recently launched here in India, is reportedly received thunderous response from consumers and critics. In fact the company on Monday announced that the smartphone already received 100,000 registrations ahead of its debut in India. The Mi3 is priced at Rs. 13,999.
