After Xiaomi completed it 50 million users in China, the smartphone manufacturer crossed its boundaries to debut in the Indian market and break some more sales records.

Finally, after much fanfare in a day event in Delhi, Xiaomi has finally launched its latest range of smartphones for the market along with a tablet. The range includes Xiami Mi3, RedMi 1S, Red Mi Note and Mi Pad tablet.

China-based smartphone maker Xiaomi's CEO Lin Bin, Vice President Hugo Barra and India operations head Manu Kumar Jain were also present at the event. Officially priced at Rs 13,999, Xiaomi Mi3 will come with 16GB internal memory and the handset is already on pre-order on the company's India website. The shipping of the handset will begin from July 22.

Xiaomi Mi3: Key Specifications

Xiaomi Mi3 sports a 5-inch IPS display offering a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and 441ppi pixel density with Corning Gorilla glass protection. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM 8974AB) processor coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM and it runs a custom interface dubbed MiUI that is a very different take on Android.

The smartphone also features a high-end camera modules. You will find a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony Exmor BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p full HD video recording along with a 2MP front-facing camera with similar specs as the rear camera.

The latest Xiaomi smartphone which measures 114mm×72mm×8.1mm and weighs 145g will house a 16 GB internal memory. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC and will draw its energy from a 3050mAh battery.
